To Find : Zeroes

 (2, 4) ,  (4,-2) , (2,-2) (iv) (-4,-4)

Solution:

x² - 2x - 8  = 0

x² - 4x + 2x - 8 =0

=> x(x - 4) + 2(x - 4) = 0

=> (x - 4)(x + 2) = 0

x = 4 , x = - 2

(4 , - 2) are zeroes

Number  of zeroes of polynomial is equal to  number of points where the graph of polynomial Intersects x-axis
