hi here is ur answer friend..........

The Himalayas have a profound effecton the climate of the Indian subcontinent and the Tibetan Plateau. They prevent frigid, dry winds from blowing south into the subcontinent, which keeps South Asia much warmer than corresponding temperate regions in the other continents.

Himalayas protect India in many ways....
Himalayas also prevent the cold Siberian air masses from entering into India.
etc......

if it were absent our India would have now become a lifeless land & human civilization would not have grown so much fruitfully in India.....

hope helped.....

The whole country must be cold as the Himalayas stops cold airs .
