If the kinetic energy of a body of mass 15 kg is 30J,find its momentum.

We know the relation between Kinetic energy and Momentum i.e
Kinetic energy =>> 30 J
Mass = 15Kg
Hence ,
k =  \frac{p {}^{2} }{2m}  \\  \\ 30 =  \frac{p {}^{2} }{2 \times 15}  \\  \\ p =  \sqrt{30 \times 30}  \\ p = 30
Momentum ( p ) = 30 Kgm/s

Given,

Mass = 15 kg
Kinetic energy = 30 J
Momentum =?

Using the relation,

30 = p^2 / 2×15
30 = p^2 / 30
30×30= p^2
900 = p^2
p = √900
p= 30 kg m/s
