it's simple dude.......

K.E=1/2mv^2

it shows,that kinetic energy is directly proportional to velocity.....

since the velocity is v,,

initial momentum is mv

now,if kinetic energy, becomes three times,then,let it's velocity be V'

3×1/2 mv^2=1/2mV'^2

from here we get

velocity, when,K.E becomes three times is √3v

now, final momentum will be √3mv

it means√3 times of initial momentum
