If the l.c.M and h.c.f of two numbers are 40 and 6 respectively one number is 12. find the other number​

Answer:

According to Euclid’s Theorem : LCM * HCF = Prodct of two numbers Considered.

So HCF = 4

LCM = 40

Number 1 = 8

Therefore Number 2 = (LCM * HCF )/ Number 1

= (40*4) / 8

= 20
