Solution :

• We know that,

Lateral surface area of cube = 4a² of a cube.

Now, substitute the values :-

➠ 144 = 4a²

➠ 144/4 = a²

➠ 36 = a²

6 cm = a

• We also know that,

Volume of cube = a³

Now, substitute the values :-

➠ (6)³

➠ 216 cm³.
