Total surface area of a cube is 900 cm².
Solution :-
We know that
Lateral surface are of a cube = 4a²
Where, a = Length of the edge of a cube
Given
Lateral surface are of a cube = 600 cm²
⇒ 4a² = 600
⇒ a² = 600/4
⇒ a² = 150
We know that
Total surface are of a cube = 6a²
= 6(150)
[Because a² = 150]
= 900 cm²
Therefore total surface area of a cube is 900 cm².

As while finding l.s.a only 4 sides of cube are involved.
Total surface area = 6a²
As while finding T.S.A all sides (6) of cube are involved.
Solution
Lateral surface area = 600 cm²
Again lateral surface area = 4a² ,So -
4a² = 600
a². = 150
We know that TSA is 6a² So,
