If the lateral surface area of a cube is 784 cm2
and
surface area of cube is equal to surface area of cuboid,
then find the surface area of cuboid

We know that the, Lateral Surface area of Cube is= 4a^2

Then,

The value of the cube side is -

4a^2=784

or, a^2= 784/4

or, a^2= 196

or, a=√196

or, a= 14cm.

Then,

Surface area of Cube is- 6a^2

6a^2

=6×(14) ^2

=6×196 cm^2

= 1176 cm^2

Hence,

According to the question-

Surface area of cube= Surface area of Cuboid.

Then,

The surface area of cuboid is - 1176 cm^2
