The LCM of two numbers is 45 times their HCF . if one of the numbers is 225 and sum of their LCM and HCF is 1150 , find the other number

 \huge \fcolorbox{red}{pink}{Solution :)}

Let , HCF of a two numbers be x

Given ,

  • LCM of the numbers = 45x
  • Sum of HCF and LCM = 1150

Thus ,

45x + x= 1150

46x = 1150

x = 1150/46

x = 25

Hence , the HCF and LCM of two numbers are 25 and (45 × 25) i.e 1125

We know that ,

 \large \mathtt{ \fbox{LCM(a \: and \: b) =  \frac{Product  \: of  \: two \:  numbers \: (a \: and \: b)}{HCF(a \: and \: b)}    }}

1125 = (225 × b)/25

b = 28125/225

b = 125

Hence , the other number is 125

Answer:

Your answer is here ..

Mate, hope it helps you..

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that LCM = 45 x HCF

Sum of HCF and LCM is given that 1150.

let HCF be x.

then LCM is 45x.

sum = 1150 = 45x + x

1150 = 46x

x= 1150/ 46 = 25

HCF = 25.
