Answer:

perimeter

2×(13+12)

2×25

50cm

Area

13×12

156cm²

length of diagonal

(x)²=(13)²+(12)²

(x)²=169+144

(x)²=313

(x)=√313=17.691806....

figure would be a square

Answer:

let the quadrilateral ABCD be the given rectangle, let AB be the length and AD be the breadth of the rectangle.

therefore AB = 13 cm and AD = 12 cm

1) perimeter of a rectangle = 2 ( l+ b)

= 2(13+12)

= 2(25)

= 50 cm

.

2) Area of a rectangle = lb

= 13×12

=156 cm²

3) since we know that every angle of a rectangle is of a 90° .

Now we have to find diagonal,

let BD be the given diagonal

therefore in triangle BAD, angel A=90°

By Pythagoras therom,

AB²+AD² =BD²

13²+12²=BD²

169+ 144=BD²

313=BD²

BD= √313 cm

4) if in the given figure length is equal to breadth

then the given figure is SQUARE
