Let the length and breadth be l and b respectively

...

After doubling it will be 2l and 2b

...

Perimeter = 2( L + b)

... = 2 ( 2L + 2B)

= 2 X 2 ( L + B). Taking 2 out

= 4 (L + B) = answer

Therefore, the perimeter will be doubled
