Perimeter without increase will be 60units

We'll get length as 22unit(20+20×10/100)

And breadth as 9unit(10–10×10/100)

Now Perimeter will be 62unit

Percentage change 2/60×100 = 3.33%

And if we change values this change will also differ

Let the length be 30unit and breadth be 20uniy

Perimeter will be 100unit

After percentage increase in length and decrease in breadth

Perimeter will be 102unit

Change will be 2/100×100 = 2%.

Hence proved that percentage change in Perimeter directly proportional to the ratio of length and breadth.
