If the length and breadth of the tank are increased by 20 units and 10 units respectively and the height remains same, then what will be the new capacity of the tank?​

The capacity of the tank will increase 200 times.

Suppose, the initial length of the tank is = l

                the initial breadth of the tank is = d

                the initial height of the tank is = h

The capacity of a tank is measured by its volume of the tank.

So, the initial volume of the tank is = l×d×h

Now, The length of the tank is = 20 × l

         The breadth of the tank is = 10× d

The height remains same = h

Now, the capacity/ volume of the tank is = 20×l×10×d×h

                                                                   = 200 ×l×d×h

                                                                   = 200 × initial capacity of the tank.

So, the capacity of the tank will increase by 200 times.
