Let's length, breadth and height be l, b and h respectively.

Total surface area= 2(l×b+l×h+b×h) If length, breadth and height are doubled then Total surface area= 2(2l×2b+2l×2h+2b×2h) =2×4(lb+lh+bh) =8(lb+lh+bh) It means total surface area will increased by 4 times.
