If the length of a chord passing through the centre of a circle is 10cm. What's the radius of

Answer :-

Chord is the line segment which joins two points lying on the circumference of the circle.

If a chord is passing through the centre and the end points of the vertex are on the circle, this means that chord is the diameter.

Diameter is the chord which passes through the centre of the circle.

So, Diameter = 10 cm

We know that,

Radius = Diameter / 2

Radius = 10 / 2

Radius = 5 cm

Radius of circle = 5 cm

The fixed point is called centre and the fixed distance is called radius.

Diameter is the longest chord of the circle.
