Given : length of a cuboid is reduced to its half and breadth become four times

To Find :  how does the volume of the cuboid change

It will become 2 times

It will remain the same

It will reduce to half

It will become 4 times

Solution:

Volume of Cuboid  = Length * breadth & height

Length = L

Breadth = B

Height = H

Volume = LBH

length of a cuboid is reduced to

its half and breadth become four times,

=> Length = L/2

Breadth = 4B

Height = H

New Volume = (L/2)4BH

= 2LBH

= 2 (old Volume)

volume of the cuboid  become 2 times

Correct option : It will become 2 times
