so length become x+5

x2+5x-234=0

x2+18x-13x-234=0

x(x+18)-13(x+18)=0

so,

(x-13) (x+18)

x=13 and x=-18(breadth can neither negative )

so breadth =13 and length (13+5)=18

So if we factorise then
x = 13 , -19
Measurement cannot be negative
So breadth = 13cm and length = 18cm
Perimeter = 2(l + b)
= 2( 18+13)
