(6+x)x=55 (Area formula)

6x+x^2=55

x^2+6x-55=0 (Rearranging)

x^2-11x+5x-55=0

x(x-11) + 5(x-11)=0

x+5=0; x-11=0

x=11 (since width cant be negative value)

Substituting back,

x*y=55

y=55/x

y=55/11

y=5(Length)

Perimeter of a rectangle= 2(l+b)

                                             2(5+11)

                                             2(16)

                                             = 32 cms

In metres, 32/100= 0.32
