Hlo friend.. Malavika Here..

Here is ur answer :

Area of Rectangle = length × breadth

According to question,

Length l of Rectangle = 2 l

Breadth b of rectangle = 3 b

Area of Rectangle = 2 l × 3 b

= 6lb

= 6 × lb

( lb is area of Rectangle. )

Ans — Area of Rectangle is 6 times more.

\Huge{\underline{\underline{\blue{\mathfrak{Answer :}}}}}

\Large{\sf{Given :}}

Length of Rectangle is Tripled.

Breadth of rectangle doubled.

\rule{200}{2}

\LARGE{\sf{To \: Find  :}}

How many times the area become greater.

\rule{200}{2}

\LARGE{\sf{Solution :}}

Let the length of rectangle be x.

Let the breadth of rectangle be y.

So, Area is

\LARGE{\boxed{\boxed{\green{\tt{Area \: = \: L \times B}}}}}

Where, L is length and B is breadth.

So,

Area = LB

Original area is LB.

\rule{200}{2}

When Length is tripled and breadth is doubled.

\LARGE{\boxed{\boxed{\green{\tt{Area \: = \: L \times B}}}}}

(Putting Values)

Area = 3x * 2y

Area = 6xy

\Large{\boxed{\red{\sf{Area \: will \: increase \: 6 \: times}}}}

∴ Area is increased 6 times.
