cost of fencing = rs.2700

since we know that

cost of fencing = rate × perimeter of

farm house

2700=27 × 2(l+b)

2700/27= 2(l+b)

100= 2(25+b)

100/2=25+b

50= 25+b

b=50-25

b=25

hence area of farmhouse= 25 ×25 square metre

= 625 square metre
