Let the length of the rectangular field be xm

Therefore, the breath is 2xm

Given, perimeter =53km

=53×1000m

=600m

⇒2(x+2x)=600

⇒3x=300

⇒x=100

Therefore, length =100m and Breath =200m

Thus, area of the rectangular field =200×100 sq. m =20000 sq. m
