If the length of a rectangular garden with area 1200 square centimeter is 40 cm then let us find the diagonal and the area of square field on it's diagonal

If area=1200, length=40 then breadth=30.

now by pythogeres theorem, diagonal=50.

Now area of square with its diagonal=d^2÷2

=(50×50)÷2=2500÷2=1250 sq.cm
