if the length of cube is doubled, by how many times it's volumn and surface area increase​

area is increased by 4 time

and volume is increased by 8 time

Answer:

volume of cube= a^3= v1

volume of cube of doubled length= (2a)^3

=>8(a)^3=8(v1)

:. its volume increased by 8 times

surface area of cube= 6(a)^2= s1

if the length is doubled,then

new surface area= 6(2a)^2

=>24(a)^2=4*6(a)^2=4(s1)

:.its surface area is increased by 4times
