let each edge be x then edge incresed is 2x
so,
volume of cube= (a)^3
=( 2x)^3=8x^3
its volume will become 8 times
then ,
surface area of cube =6a^2
= 6(2x)^2=24x^2
hence, surface area will become 24 times
so,
volume of cube= (a)^3

surface area of cube =6a^2
