if the length of each edge of a cube is doubled, how many times does its volume become? how many times does its surface area become?

let x be side of cube
hence original volume is
 {x}^{3}
now side is doubled that is made 2x
new volume=
 {(2x)}^{3}  \\  = 8 {x}^{3}
hence volume becomes 8 times.

similarly we can do with surface area which becomes 4 times
