Let we consider edge of cube is " a " .

Now , edge of a cube is doubled

So, each edge become " 2a"

Volume of cube = x³

= (2a)³

= 2×2×2×a³

= 8a³

So , volume of new cube is " 8a³ " in cubic unit.
