If the length of hypotenuse of an isosceles right angled triangle is 10root2 cm then find its perimeter and area.

In an isosceles right-angled triangle two sides are equal.

If one side is 10cm then the other side is also 10cm

The hypotenuse is the biggest side

∴,(hypotenuse)2=102+102

⇒hypotenuse=2×100=102cm

∴ its perimeter=10+10+102=20+102cm
