if the length of rectangle is 3 times its breadth and the breadth is x units then what will be it's perimeter

Let the breadth of the rectangle

( b ) = x units ,

length ( l ) = 3x units

Perimeter ( P ) = 2( l + b )

= 2( 3x + x )

= 2 × 4x

= 8x units.

Therefore ,

perimeter of the rectangle ( P ) = 8x units
