Step-by-step explanation:

We know that,

Area of rectangle = Length × Width

=> 544 = 32 × Width

=> Width = 544 / 32

=> Width = 17 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

The length of a rectangle is twice its width. If its perimeter is 54 cm, what is its length?

My dear friend Prakash Joshi,

It is so quite simple question just follow the condition of the questions, Nothing else.

Let suppose that the width of the rectangle be W = x

Then the length of the rectangle be L = “2x”

Given data :- the length of a rectangle is twice it's width. And the perimeter is 54 cm .

Find out the length of the rectangle =?

We know that the perimeter P =54 cm

2(L +W) =54

2(x+2x)=54

6x=54, x = (54/6)=9 cm. answer

So the width of the recatngle W =x = 9 cm

Then the length of the recatngle L = 2x = 18 cm answer.

I hope that your doubt will be cleared up.

Stay safe # stay tuned.

Thankyou,

Best regards,
