if the length of rectangle is double of it's breadth,so though 8 meters side of squares is inscribed in that rectangle,hence it will be 1/8 area of rectangle.so what is the length of rectangle?

let the breadth of rectangle be x

yhen the length will ne 2 x

1/8=x/2x

1x=8+2x

1x-2x=8

1x=8

x=8/1

x=8

there fore, breadth of rectangle=x=8cm

length of rectangle=2x=2×8

length = 16cm.
