if the length of the conductor is 250 m and its resistivity is 1.6*10^-8 and its resistance is 1ohm . then find the cross sectional area of the conductor and what will be its resistance if the cross sectional area is doubled .

R=resistivity ×l/A
1=1.6×10^-8×250/A
A=400×10^-8
=4×10^-6

jalanshalini: If area is doubled, resistance gets halfed.
danish65: find its resistance too
jalanshalini: It's already there in the question i.e. 1ohm
