Length l of rectangle = 16cm

Diagonal D of rectangle = 20cm

We have to find breadth of rectangle.

Let the breadth be b.

(diagonal)² = length² + breadth ²

(20)² = (16)² +(b)²

400=256+b²

b² = 400-256

b² = 144

b= √144

b= 12

Breadth b of rectangle = 12cm

Area of rectangle = length × breadth

= 16 × 12

= 192cm²
Hope this helps you friend

length of the rectangle is 16cm
diagnol of the rectangle is 20cm

we have to find the breadth for finding the area.

according to Pythagoras theorem

20^2-16^2=breadth ^2
400-256= breadth^2
144 = breadth^2
12×12=144
breadth =12cm

area of a rectangle = lendth×breadth
=16×12
=192cm^2

hope it helps and please mark brainliest
