therefore, by 45-45-90° theorem

side of a triangle is 1/√2 of the hypotenuse

side= 16×1/√2

side = 16/√2

side = 2^4/2^1/2

side = 2^4-1/2

side = 2^7/2

side =11.31

perimeter = 4(side)

= 4×11.31

= 45.24
