In rhombus ABCD ,we have

Diagonal AC =16 cm

Diagonal BD = 12 cm

We know that diagonals of rhombus bisects each other at

right angles.

So, OD = ½ BD = ½ X 12cm = 6cm

OC = ½ AC = ½ X 16 cm = 8 cm

In right triangle COD , right angle at O,

By Pythagoras property of triangle

=

+

= +

=

+

= 64 + 36

= 100

=

CD = 1O cm

Now side of rhombus = 10cm

Perimeter of Rhombus = 4x side= 4 x10 cm = 40cm
