Breadth = x

Area = l × b = 6x +

So, the breadth =(x-6) units

[As the length is 6 units more than the breadth]

We know that

Area of rectangle =Length ×Breadth

Therefore area =x(x-6)

=x²-6x

Your answer is x²-6x
