If the length of the rectangle is increased by 40 percent and its breadth is decreased by 40 percent what will be the percentage change in its area.​

Answer:

A=L*B

Now L become L+40% of L

And B becomes B-40% of B

So, area A' =(L+L/40 *100)*(B-B/40*100)

A'=26L*-24B

A'=-624(L*B)

So, A'=-625*A
