if the length of the shadow of pole is equal to the length of the pole then find the angle of elevation ​

Answer: Angle of elevation 45°

Solution:

As we know that height is taking as perpendicular in the triangle, and shadow is horizontal so taking as base.

Now take the trigonometric ratio which include both perpendicular and base

I.e.

tan@=Perpendicular/Base

Since according to question both are same. h = b

tan θ = h/h

tan θ = 1

θ = 45°

So,angle of elevation of pole = 45°
