Answer :

  • Area of square is 121cm²
  • Total length of its boundary is 44cm².

Given :

  • The length of the side of a square is 11cm

To find :

  • Area
  • Total length of its boundary

Solution :

Given that,

  • Length of the side of a square is 11cm

First we need to find the area then after length of boundary

we know that,

  • Area of square = a²

Where, a is 11cm

》Area of square = a²

》Area of square = (11)2

》Area of square = 121cm²

Hence , Area of square is 121cm²

Now, we have to find the length of its boundary:

As we know that,

  • Perimeter of square = 4a

》Perimeter of square = 4a

》4 × 11

》44cm²

Hence ,Total length of its boundary is 44cm².

  • The area of rectangles is computed by multiplying the base times the height.

  • Since the rectangle in this problem is a square, the base and the height are the same because in a square, all four sides are the same.

So,

area of square = s²

  • (11)²
  • (11)²121

So the area of square is 121cm²

 \\ \\

Length of the boundary= perimeter of square

= 4a

  • ➛4×11
  • ➛4×1144cm

So, the length of it's boundary is 44cm
