It will be always less than 6+8 i.e. 14 .( as the sum of two sides of a triangle are greater than the third side)
It will not be 1 because if it will be 1 the 6+1<8 which is not possible .....
So, now comes the no. 2 which will also not be the answer as 2+6=8 which is not possible....
Now, 3 can be the answer as3+6>8 ...
Let the length of the third side be x
then
the length of the third side will be 14>x
or. x>2
So, the required length is 14>x>2 ...
