if the light from the sun reaches us in 8.3 light minutes how far is the sun from the earth give answer with explanation​

Now, the speed of light in vacuum is approximately  3 * 10^8 m/s.

Space can be assumed to be a vacuum, and so, the distance traveled by light to reach Earth is speed * time = 3 * 10^8 (m/s) * 504 (s), which is equal to:

1512 * 10^8 m = 1.512 * 10^11 m or  1.512 * 10^8 km
