Solution :
Here ,
The given equation of line is ;
3x + 4y = p
The given equation can be rewritten as ;
Also ,
The given area of the enclosed triangle is 24 sq. units .
Thus ,
=> ½•| (p/3)•(p/4) | = 24
=> ½•| p²/12 | = 24
=> |p²|/24 = 24
=> |p²| = 24•24
=> p² = 24•24 [ °•° |p²| = p² ]
=> p = ± √(24•24)
=> p = ± 24
Hence p = ± 24
