Answer:

Y-y1 = (y2-y1)/ x2-x1 × (x-x1)

Y-(-2)= (-2-4)÷(-3-a)×(x-(-3))

Y+2= -6÷(-3-a)×( x+3)

Now above line passes through origin

Means (x,y)=(0,0) x=0,y=0

0+2 = -6÷(-3-a)×(3)

2= -18÷(-3-a)

(-3-a)= -9

-a= -9+3

-a= -6

A=6
