That's because if the liver is disrupted then it'd stop making digestive juices due to which the mucus lining of the stomach would become weak and the acids mainly hydrochloric acid in the stomach would digest the stomach itself.

Also liver is the largest and the only gland which can regenerate itself from it's remaining part (minimum 25 %) hence liver transplantation is not harmful for the multiple liver donors.

"Liver transplantation" is the treatment for the end-stage of liver disease and the "acute liver failure", though "opening of donor organs" is a major limitation.

Explanation:

  • That's because if the liver is disrupted then it'd stop making digestive juices due to which the mucus lining of the stomach would become weak and the acids mainly "hydrochloric acid" in the abdomen may digest the stomach itself.
  • Also, "liver is the largest" and the only gland which can regenerate itself from it's remaining part (minimum 25 %). Hence liver transplantation is not harmful for the multiple liver donors.
