The lopohotrochozoans share the genetic makeup and also share the feeding structure called lophophore. This structure is in harsh shoe shape. The larval form of lophotrochozoans is called trochophore larva. The lophotochozoan phyla include Platyhelminthes, Gastrotricha, Micrognathozoa, Gnathostomulida, Rotifera and Acanthocephala, Nemertea, Cycliophora, Ectoprocta and Brachiopoda.
