Answer:

Let us take the Selling price (SP) be x .

Then by question Loss = ⅗ of SP = ⅗ × x = 3x/5.

Also we know that

★ SP = CP - Loss ★

=> x = CP - 3x/5.

=> CP = x - 3x/5.

=> CP = 5x-3x/5.

=> CP = 2x/5.

Now we can find the loss % as ,

★ Loss % = Loss/CP × 100★

=> Loss% = (3x/5 ÷ 2x/5 × 100 )

=> Loss% = 3x/5 × 5/2x × 100

=> Loss% = 3×100/2.

=> Loss% = 150% .
