Given :-

Market price (MP) :- Rs.480

Discount (D) :- 3%

To Find :-

Selling price of the object.............

Solution :-

Discount =

 \dashrightarrow \sf 3 \bf\% \sf \: of \: 480

 \dashrightarrow \sf\frac{3}{100} \times 480 \\

 \dashrightarrow \sf \frac{3}{ \cancel{100}} \times \cancel{480} = \frac{3 \times 48}{10} \\

 \dashrightarrow \sf \frac{144}{10} = 1.44 \\

Selling price =

 \dashrightarrow \sf480 - 1.44

 \dashrightarrow \sf478.56

\Huge\thereforeThe selling price of the object is Rs. 478.56.
