Answer:

answer. answer: magnetic flux density is amount of magnetic flux through unit area taken perpendicular to direction of magnetic flux. flux density (b) is related to magnetic field (h) by b=μh.

Concept

The surface integral of the normal component of the magnetic field B across a surface represents magnetic flux through that surface.

Given

Magnetic field and area of the cross-section are perpendicular to one another.

To Find

Expression of magnetic flux density.

Solution

The mathematical expression for the magnetic flux is \phi=BA cos\theta where, B is the magnetic field, A is the area of the cross-section and \theta is the angle between B and A.

According to the question, \theta=90^o so, the expression for the magnetic flux will be-

\phi=BAcos(90)\\=0

Hence, the magnetic flux is 0.
