The cost of machine is Rs. 24000.

Retail price of machine = 37950. (GIven)

Manufacturer gains 10% (GIven)

Wholesaler gain = 15% (GIven)

Retailer gain = 25%  (GIven)

Let the cost of production of an electric toaster be = x

Hence 125% of 115% of 110% of x = 37950

= 125 / 100 × 115/100 × 110/ 100 × x = 37950

= 37950 × 1000000 / 125 × 115 × 110

= 24000

Therefore, the cost of machine is 24000.
