The cost of machine is Rs. 24,000.

Retail price of machine = 37950. (Given)

Manufacturer gains 10% (Given)

Wholesaler gain = 15% (Given)

Retailer gain = 25%  (Given)

Let the cost of production of an washing machine be = x

Hence 125% of 115% of 110% of x = 37,950

= 125 / 100 × 115/100 × 110/ 100 × x = 37,950

= 37950 × 1000000 / 125 × 115 × 110

= 24,000

Therefore, the cost of machine is 24000 rupees.

The cost of machine is Rs. 24000

.Retail price of machine = 37950. (Glven)Manufacturer gains 10%

(Glven)Wholesaler gain = 15%

(Glven)Retailer gain = 25%

Let the cost of production of an electric toaster be = x

Hence 125% of 115% of 110% of x = 37950

= 125 / 100 x 115/100 x 110/ 100 x x =37950= 37950 × 1000000 / 125 × 115 × 110= 24000

Therefore, the cost of machine is 24000.
