Let the production cost of the geyser be ₹ x

Manufacturer's gain = 6 %

∴ SP of the manufacture = 106 % of ₹x

⠀⠀⠀⠀ = (x \times  \frac{106}{100} ) = ₹ \frac{53x}{50}

Wholesale dealer's gain = 8%

SP of the dealer = 108 % of ₹ (53x /50 )

 = ₹( \frac{53x}{50}  \times  \frac{108}{100} ) = ₹( \frac{53x}{50}  \times  \frac{27}{25} )

Retailer's gain = 10 %

SP \: of \: the \: \: retailer \:  = 110\% \: of \: ₹ (\frac{53x}{50}  \times  \frac{27}{25} )

SP of the retailer  = 110\%  of ₹(\frac{53x}{50}  \times  \frac{27}{25} )}

 = ₹( \dfrac{53x}{50}  \times  \frac{27}{25}  \times  \frac{110}{100} )

 = ₹( \frac{53x}{50}  \times  \frac{27}{25}  \times  \frac{11}{10} )

But , the retail price is ₹ 15741

∴ \dfrac{53x}{50}  \times  \frac{27}{25 }  \times  \frac{11}{10}  = 15741

 =  x =  \dfrac{15741 \times 50 \times 25 \times 10}{53 \times 27 \times 11}

 = 12500

Hence , the cost if production of the geyser is ₹ 12500
